Sequoia Estate, a stunning new events and wedding venue in Taupo, was poised to offer luxurious, private event experiences in a five-bedroom lodge surrounded by majestic gardens. With its oval event space and Sequoia trees lending the venue a truly special charm, the vision was clear – but the brand identity was yet to be established. The owner, Tracey Thompson, approached Destinate to help create a brand look and feel that matched the elegance and warmth of the estate.

Destinate stepped in to shape the brand from the very beginning. We collaborated with Tracey to ensure Sequoia Estate's identity reflected the high-end yet approachable nature of the property. Here’s how we brought that vision to life:

  1. Logo Design & Branding
    The Sequoia Estate logo was carefully crafted using fonts that spoke to both luxury and friendliness, ensuring the brand appealed to boutique weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. The colors were inspired by the magnificent Sequoia trees, bringing natural tones to the fore while maintaining a polished and sophisticated feel.

  2. Website Development
    Next, we designed and built a website that told Sequoia Estate’s story. The site needed to feel elegant and welcoming, capturing the essence of the venue while providing a seamless user experience. We coordinated professional imagery and storytelling text that showcased the beauty of the estate and gave visitors a sense of the special events it could host.

  3. Social Media Strategy
    With the branding and website in place, the next step was to bring Sequoia Estate to life online. We developed a tailored social media strategy and launched the estate’s Facebook and Instagram channels. These platforms were designed to share the estate’s stunning visuals, connect with potential clients, and drive inquiries. The first posts introduced the estate’s luxurious offerings, including the event spaces and the stunning natural setting.

Sequoia Estate successfully launched its brand into the market with a cohesive, upscale identity that resonated with its target audience. The new website and social media presence established Sequoia Estate as a sought-after venue in Taupo for weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings, generating buzz from the very start.
